(Thursday–Saturday)
Reconnect with your child — or your parent — in a cozy, calm, and intentional 3-day getaway. Gentle yoga, guided reflection, nourishing meals, and quiet nature time create space for connection that’s often missing in everyday life.
This retreat is for one parent and one child per booking.
Perfect for growing kids, teens, or adult children.
8 years old:
Parents remain responsible for their minor child at all times.
Pricing is per parent–child pair and remains the same regardless of shared sleeping arrangements.
Spots are limited and filled on a first-come basis.

This retreat is held by Chelsie Wallin, a yoga and mindfulness guide who creates gentle, inclusive spaces rooted in connection rather than performance.
Chelsie’s approach is accessible, grounding, and welcoming to all bodies and experience levels. Her intention for this retreat is to offer parents and children — at any age — a chance to slow down, reconnect, and share meaningful time together in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Chelsie is supported throughout the retreat by her assistant, Jess.
Jess has a deep love for photography, creativity, and art, and brings that heart into everything she does. Throughout the retreat, she’ll be supporting with photos, classes, and food, helping capture meaningful moments while also assisting with the flow of the experience.
Her creative presence adds an extra layer of care and intention, allowing families to feel supported, relaxed, and truly present.
Please reach us at chelsiew@ontheskye.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Each registration is for one parent and one child. The child may be a minor as young as 8 years old or an adult (18+). No yoga experience is required.
No. Absolutely no yoga experience is required.
All movements are gentle, optional, and accessible. This is not about doing poses “correctly” — it’s about presence and connection.
That’s completely okay. We’ll have chairs and supportive props available, and everything can be adapted to meet you where you are — especially for aging bodies or anyone wanting extra support.
That’s completely okay. Everything offered is optional. You are always welcome to rest, observe, or participate in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Yes. This retreat is intentionally designed to be meaningful for adult parent–child relationships as well as families with younger children.
This retreat works best for children who can participate in gentle movement and quiet moments with a parent. If you’re unsure whether it’s a good fit, feel free to reach out.
You can expect a mix of:
There is no expectation to perform or keep up.
The retreat is designed as a shared experience, and most activities are offered together.
That said, it’s always okay to take a quiet break, step outside, or spend a few moments resting separately if either of you needs it.
You’re encouraged to listen to your bodies and do what feels supportive.
This is a two-night, three-day retreat.
The schedule is intentionally spacious, allowing time for connection, rest, and unstructured moments.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and relax in.
You may also want to bring:
We provide props for your use including yoga mats, restorative bolsters, chairs (if needed) and pads for knees/elbows etc. Please let your retreat host know ahead of time if you need anything and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
The retreat is primarily held outdoors, allowing us to connect with nature throughout the experience.
If weather conditions make outdoor activities unsafe or uncomfortable, we will move indoors as needed.
Please plan to wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing and bring layers so you can stay cozy and supported.
Because space is limited, registration is non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another parent-child pair with notice.
Spots are limited to keep the experience intimate. Pre-registration is required.
The retreat will be held by Chelsie, with support from her assistant Jess.
Chelsie will be guiding the retreat experience, including movement, mindfulness, and connection-based activities.
Jess will be supporting throughout the weekend with photos, class set up, and food, helping ensure the retreat feels smooth, grounded, and well-supported.
Together, we’ll be holding a warm, attentive space so families can relax and be present.
That’s welcome here. This is a judgment-free space where children can be themselves, with their parent present and supported.
